What is it all about?

Our client, one of the biggest players in home security industry, is looking for a business development superstar with wide range of superpowers.

First and most importantly, we need you to be able to establish and execute growth plans and channel strategy for existing and new markets - which markets you're asking? Well, we are talking about the bigger half of European continent - from Baltic countries, over Central/Eastern Europe and Balcan area all the way to Turkey. That obviously requires lots of travelling (around 75%) and willingness to discover new cultures and business environments.

Secondly, you need to raise awareness about our client's presence and products - through driving local eCommerce and CRM initiatives, developing and executing branding strategy, participation on major exhibitions, developing product roadmaps and simply being the best possible business representative of our client's brand.

Late but not least, you have to prove that you are the perfect cocktail of rigid business/analytical approach and godlike people skills. Someone who can provide an ad hoc report about a given product or category in matter of hours but is at the same time able to negotiate with bigwigs in the given industry. Someone who can see business results behind every little decision but can also motivate and coach managers/directors of individual branches.

All mentioned above with one simple (yet not easy) goal - growth and profit. If all of this sounds more like a challenge than a horror movie to you, you should definitely keep reading.

Who are you?

And who is a Business Development Superstar? Well it is obviously hard to define and it is mainly based on who you are as a person which is quite hard to check online but there are some pieces of experience and qualities you simply need to possess:

  • university degree in the field of Economics or Business Development
  • 10 year experience with international markets, desirably from Eastern European ones
  • proven track record in achieving ambitious sales growth target
  • ability to function under stress in a fast paced environment
  • motivating, confident and brave personality open to international cooperation
  • waaaay above-average communication and presentation skills
  • willingness to spend more than 70% of your work time travelling
  • native-like English (both oral and written) and C1+ knowledge of some Eastern European language
