What is it all about?

  • To develop, and deploy an integrated approach to Compensation and Benefits across the business which supports the Company strategy and talent strategy and drives performance and engagement within the business.
  • Ensure that the company extracts maximum value from its investment in employee reward, through effective allocation of the investment (pay for performance), and effective communication and engagement with employees to ensure that they understand the full value of the reward
  • To lead the social dialogue strategy for the Business ensuring long term alignment with the company human resource strategy and with the respective legislation and internal regulations
  • Review, the two different company compensation, benefits and grading approaches and recommend the way forward
  • Ensure that the company extracts maximum value from its investment in employee reward, through effective allocation of the investment (pay for performance), and effective communication and engagement with employees to ensure that they understand the full value of the reward
  • Ensure internal/external equity through clear processes and policies and appropriate governance
  • Build HRBP and line management capability with regard to reward matters through regular coaching and communication
  • Custodian of the job evaluation process within Czech and Slovak business in line with global approach
  • Management and Leadership of a team of C&B analysts
  • Responsibility for the pay cost budgeting and reporting process, ensuring that the budget is accurate and spend against the budget is monitored and issues are raised and dealt with
  • Manage the approach to compensation related Trade Union discussions ensuring long term alignment with the company human resource strategy and with the respective legislation and internal regulations

Who are you?

  • Significant experience (5-8 years) of managing compensation and benefits function preferably in a multinational business
  • Detailed understanding of the Czech and Slovak labour markets and knowledge of the Czech and Slovak Labour Code and Trade Union legislative acts.
  • Deep understanding of Industry best practice in compensation and benefits
  • Knowledge of HR SAP preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team management experience, excellent communicator and with experience of influencing senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English and Czech (or Slovak) is essential both verbal and written
