As an Automation Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in commissioning production lines for clients around the world, with a focus on strong technical knowledge, stress resilience, and travel capability, spending 80% of your time abroad.
What is it about?
The position of Automation Commissioning Engineer involves testing and commissioning food production lines. You will travel to customer sites, check documentation and site readiness, perform IO testing of equipment, troubleshoot and overcome arising challenges, and carry out plant commissioning. This role is critical for projects and initiatives within the Pasta and Noodles unit globally. Onboarding includes standard company processes and specialized training, after which you will be fully independent in two years. You will spend 80% of your time abroad.
Who are we looking for?
- Strong electrical background
- Willingness to travel internationally (more than 80% of the time)
- Professional experience in ECAD is an advantage
- Well trained in programming on Siemens TIA Portal is an advantage
- Electrical education from an accredited school
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Resilience to stressful situations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of English
