Ready to Lead? Own the Numbers as Head of Accounting for Germany!
What is it about?
Own the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB, including IFRS adjustments and reporting alignment with HQ.
Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency, in close cooperation with auditors and tax advisors.
Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business performance and decision-making.
Contribute to strategic projects focused on digitalization, automation, and process optimization, including SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Lead and develop a team of three, fostering accountability, growth, and a high-performance culture.
Drive up-skilling and optimize processes, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.
Who are we looking for?
Strong knowledge of German tax law and HGB, including preparation of statutory financial statements.
3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance leadership role, ideally in an international environment.
Proficiency in SAP (experience with S/4HANA is a plus).
Fluency in English and German for daily communication in an international setting.
Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany.
