What is it about?
- Use of technical knowledge in sourcing and purchasing the right products for clients.
- Implement IT procurement processes established by the IT Category Manager to consistently achieve service level agreements.
- Provide operational procurement services that align with business goals, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Manage projects and purchases in a compliant manner, maximizing value while mitigating risks within the client’s risk appetite.
- Maintain accurate client asset lists to support effective procurement and management.
- Advocate for procurement, supplier, and contract management best practices among stakeholders, including training on ticketing tools.
- Offer feedback and identify risks to the IT Category Manager to enhance vendor and stakeholder management.
- Developing key stakeholder relationships, focused on the continued development of procurement as a trusted business partner.
- Source suppliers using best practices, prioritizing stakeholder needs and satisfaction.
- Ensure that client interests and assets are safeguarded and provide comprehensive end-to-end supplier engagement services.
- Assist the IT category team in achieving client-driven initiatives and objectives.
- Oversee the end to end sourcing lifecycle, leading cross-functional stakeholders throughout the procurement process.
- Support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) by classifying new suppliers and determining appropriate due diligence frequency.
