Join an international company as a Demand and Supply Planning Team Leader!

What is it about?

  • Lead and develop the Supply & Demand Planning team while actively contributing to operational tasks – leading by example and staying close to the business.
  • Own and drive the demand forecast process to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Drive and co-lead the S&OP process to align supply, demand, and financial planning with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders – Sales (for demand reviews), Operations (for supply constraints), B2B Order Management (for allocation), and Procurement (for material availability) – to optimize planning accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Proactively manage inventory levels and ensure optimal stock positions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and planning tools to increase forecast accuracy and agility within the supply chain.
  • Take ownership of key KPIs such as Service Level / OTIF, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Turns, and Obsolescence/Excess.
  • Lead and mentor a team of approximately 10 employees (functional and disciplinary leadership), including hiring, coaching, performance management, and organizational design, to foster a high-performing, open, and supportive culture.

Who are we looking for?

  • More than 5 years of experience in Supply & Demand Planning, including functional and disciplinary leadership experience.
  • Solid knowledge of forecasting methods, inventory management, and S&OP processes.
  • Must-have: Proficient in SAP ECC and advanced Excel skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP IBP.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong communication skills to foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • People-oriented leadership style – ability to inspire, develop, and motivate your team while creating a culture of trust, transparency, and continuous improvement.
