Our client is looking for an experienced GL Accountant who will help the company with accounting closures, financial reporting and much more!
What is it about?
- You will be responsible for accounting and financial closure, creating reports, including processing balance sheets, reconciling payroll transactions, monthly sales and cost cut-off procedures, and reporting to the parent company.
- Responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with laws through collaboration with external partners such as accounting service providers, tax advisors, and auditors.
- You will work with teams responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, IT, and Legal and will participate in financial planning and forecasting.
- The job will also involve participating in projects, striving for process improvements, and solving daily business issues.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance
- Experience in accounting or financial closings - preferably around 5 years
- Communicative level of English
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and statutory accounting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
