Senior GL Accountant

We’re looking for a Senior GL Accountant to take charge of two small European entities. SAP skills a must, love of numbers and structure essential.
What is it about?
- Oversee as well as perform daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with applicable regulations and IFRS accounting standards
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports according to IFRS accounting standards
- Coordinate external audits, ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards as well as tax regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting operations and lead initiatives to streamline workflows.
- Manage the statutory financial statements according to local GAAP
- Work in close alignment with both internal and external tax advisors
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in a comparable role
- Proficiency with SAP
- Fluency in English
- French and or German language proficiency is a plus
- Strong knowledge IFRS standards.
- Ability to adapt to changes, and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder interaction.
