Supply Planning Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Supply Planning Specialist who will take ownership of supply planning for a global toy manufacturer bringing joy to children worldwide.
What is it about?
- Taking full ownership Supply Planning, ensuring a reliable and aligned end-to-end planning process
- Creating, reviewing and constructively challenging statistical and collaborative forecasts to drive accuracy and business alignment
- Ensuring supply coverage by balancing demand with lead times, production capacities and minimum order quantities (MOQs)
- Steering and monitoring external suppliers in terms of capacity, OTIF performance and overall reliability
- Analyzing deviations between forecast, customer orders and supply plans, identifying root causes and initiating corrective actions
- Closely collaborating with Procurement, Order Management and Commercial teams to ensure transparency and alignment across the value chain
- Further developing S&OP / IBP processes, planning logics and system functionalities to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within planning processes to increase accuracy, speed and resilience
- Developing and monitoring relevant planning KPIs (e.g. Forecast Accuracy, Bias, OTIF) and reviewing performance with cross-functional stakeholders
- Optimizing ways of working to create leaner, more effective and data-driven planning processes
Who are we looking for?
- You have successfully completed a university degree and/or a comparable professional qualification
- You have several years of hands-on experience working in Supply Planning
- You bring solid knowledge of ERP tools and understand system interdependencies within an integrated planning landscape
- You have a strong end-to-end Supply Chain understanding and know how demand, supply and operations interact
- You have experience managing and steering external suppliers, including performance monitoring and capacity alignment
- You are confident in working with Forecast KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Bias and OTIF
- You have a structured, analytical and hands-on working style with a strong affinity for data-driven decision making
- You are a natural team player (all genders) with strong communication skills in an international environment
- You are fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
