Supply Planning Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Supply Planning Specialist who will take ownership of supply planning for a global toy manufacturer bringing joy to children worldwide.

What is it about?

  • Taking full ownership Supply Planning, ensuring a reliable and aligned end-to-end planning process
  • Creating, reviewing and constructively challenging statistical and collaborative forecasts to drive accuracy and business alignment
  • Ensuring supply coverage by balancing demand with lead times, production capacities and minimum order quantities (MOQs)
  • Steering and monitoring external suppliers in terms of capacity, OTIF performance and overall reliability
  • Analyzing deviations between forecast, customer orders and supply plans, identifying root causes and initiating corrective actions
  • Closely collaborating with Procurement, Order Management and Commercial teams to ensure transparency and alignment across the value chain
  • Further developing S&OP / IBP processes, planning logics and system functionalities to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within planning processes to increase accuracy, speed and resilience
  • Developing and monitoring relevant planning KPIs (e.g. Forecast Accuracy, Bias, OTIF) and reviewing performance with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Optimizing ways of working to create leaner, more effective and data-driven planning processes

Who are we looking for?

  • You have successfully completed a university degree and/or a comparable professional qualification
  • You have several years of hands-on experience working in Supply Planning
  • You bring solid knowledge of ERP tools and understand system interdependencies within an integrated planning landscape
  • You have a strong end-to-end Supply Chain understanding and know how demand, supply and operations interact
  • You have experience managing and steering external suppliers, including performance monitoring and capacity alignment
  • You are confident in working with Forecast KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Bias and OTIF
  • You have a structured, analytical and hands-on working style with a strong affinity for data-driven decision making
  • You are a natural team player (all genders) with strong communication skills in an international environment
  • You are fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
