BANDI is a Czech menswear brand with a wide network of stores across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company needed to quickly strengthen its in-store teams while navigating internal changes – without putting recruitment on hold. The internal HR team didn’t have the capacity to manage the high volume of hiring across multiple locations, so BANDI turned to us to take over recruitment and help keep the process running smoothly.
Solution
We assigned an RPO team to the project, made up of two consultants and one Account Manager. Their role was to take over the operational side of recruitment and help the client manage a high volume of open retail roles within a short timeframe.
Our consultants gradually took responsibility for day-to-day recruitment activities, which had previously been handled independently by individual stores, largely by their managers. This relieved both hiring managers and HR teams, giving them the space to focus on ongoing internal changes.
The team was responsible for the full recruitment operation – from job portals and candidate communication to prescreening and conducting interviews.
At the same time, our consultants helped unify the recruitment approach across branches in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Clearer ways of working were introduced, and processes were simplified to ensure they were easy to understand for HR, hiring managers, and candidates alike.
Thanks to regular communication and transparent reporting, the client had full visibility into the recruitment pipeline and was able to respond flexibly to the evolving needs of individual teams.
Over four months of collaboration, our team screened 377 candidates in initial interviews and recommended 166 of them to hiring managers for the next stage. The result was the successful hiring of 48 retail professionals, including sales advisors and stylists, store managers and deputy managers, doormen, and tailors.
