Eurowag was expanding its Inside Sales team in Prague and hiring for the role of Inside Sales Manager. The position required a strong commercial drive, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a “hunter” mindset, with a clear focus on acquisition from an office-based environment. Given the complexity of the role, the client turned to us after facing challenges in sourcing relevant candidates internally.

Solution

Our senior recruiter took over the project and managed the entire hiring process in close collaboration with the hiring manager and the internal TA team.

From the very beginning, she focused on gaining a deep understanding of the role and expectations – especially the combination of strong sales drive, great communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle sales purely from an office-based setup. This allowed her to target relevant candidates and significantly improve the overall process.

Regular communication with the hiring manager and internal HR was key, including sharing market feedback and helping set realistic expectations throughout the process.

Our scope of work included:

  • targeted sourcing and outreach
  • prescreening and internal interviews focused on performance and cultural fit
  • structured evaluation and presentation of candidates to the client
  • coordination of the hiring process and regular reporting
  • negotiation of terms between candidates and the client

Our recruiter reached out to 102 candidates, conducted 31 prescreen interviews and completed around 8 interviews. This resulted in 1 successful placement, with 2 candidates accepting offers.

Thanks to the successful collaboration, our partnership with the client expanded, and we went on to fill additional roles, including Key Account Manager and Area Sales Manager.
