Resideo is a global leader in smart home, security, and energy management technologies. As they expanded their development team in Brno, they partnered with us to hire a number of skilled technical specialists. Our task was to take over and manage the entire recruitment process from start to finish. 

Solution

We assigned two RPO consultants to the project, who spent over a year working closely with the client. They were in daily contact with HR and hiring managers, seamlessly integrating into Resideo’s internal team

The main challenge was hiring technical and specialized roles in a region with a limited talent pool while respecting the client’s preference for local candidates. The key positions included Embedded FW Developers, Embedded HW Developers, Test Engineers, Test Technicians and Mechanical Design Engineers. 

Adapting to local conditions was crucial. We adjusted role requirements, engaged junior talent and considered part-time options. By using alternative sourcing channels beyond LinkedIn and jobs.cz and consistently re-engaging candidates, we managed to boost response rates significantly. 

The recruitment was handled fully remotely, requiring close communication with the team in Brno as well as leadership teams in the US, Mexico and the UK. 

In total, we filled 33 technical positions and helped Resideo expand their development team.
