How We Helped Rohlík Hire 80 Professionals in Less Than a Year

Rohlík Group is one of Europe’s fastest-growing online grocery delivery services, operating in five countries. In October 2024, the company brought GoodCall on board to ease pressure on their internal recruitment team during a period of intense hiring. What started as a short-term project soon expanded as we stepped in to support roles across IT, Operations, HR, Finance, Legal and Commercial, primarily in the Czech Republic and DACH region.
Solution
To meet Rohlík’s evolving needs, we assembled a flexible RPO team led by an experienced Account Manager. The team size shifted throughout the project. We began with two consultants and gradually expanded the team as the workload increased. At peak capacity, six consultants were involved, allowing us to stay agile and responsive to changing hiring demands.
One of our RPO consultants was fluent in German, which was helpful when working across multiple markets in the DACH region.
Each RPO consultant focused on specific business areas such as IT, Automation, HR, Finance, Legal, Commercial, Operations and Supply Chain. They worked closely with internal recruitment leads and hiring managers, and their responsibilities covered the full hiring cycle, from sourcing and prescreening to managing interviews and offers.
We adjusted our approach based on the type of role and market conditions, balancing active sourcing with the screening of inbound applicants. While the majority of hiring activities took place in the Czech Republic and the DACH region, we also supported a few roles in Hungary.
One of the key moments came when Rohlík launched a major operational expansion project in Germany, requiring the rapid hiring of around 70 IT professionals. We quickly scaled our recruitment support to help them cover critical roles like Java Developers, Frontend and Backend Developers.
Beyond recruitment delivery, we helped drive internal changes, including the implementation of the client’s new ATS system and new hiring processes. Our RPO consultants also helped the internal team set up and improve job advertisements, especially in Austria.
Results
- Successfully filled 80 roles with an 80% offer-to-acceptance ratio.
- Contacted 11,650 candidates (6,730 active, 4,920 passive).
- Conducted 1,630 prescreens and presented 721 candidates to the client.
- Strengthened communication between recruitment and hiring managers, especially in the DACH region.
- Played a key role in implementing a new ATS system and rolling out updated hiring processes.
- Thanks to our effective delivery, the collaboration was extended from an initial 3-month scope to nearly a full year.
