What is it about?
In the dynamic role of AEM Backend Tech Lead, you'll have the enriching opportunity to guide and mentor a passionate development team of up to three members, where your technical expertise will light the path, providing direction and support that ensures the team not only attains growth and success but also leads towards producing higher productivity and remarkable quality outcomes. By architecting and managing the content architecture within AEM, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the platform evolves in tandem with business growth, effectuating improved operational efficiencies and delivering user experiences that are as seamless as they are impressive.
Your innovative mindset will be crucial as you implement and optimize AEM's personalization capabilities, crafting tailored content experiences that resonate with users on a personal level. Leading the development of custom AEM components, templates, and workflows, you'll meet specific project needs, propelling efficiency and enhancing delivery outcomes in each project undertaken. Establishing and enforcing coding standards, best practices, and processes will ensure the solutions provided are not just high-quality but also effective, solving real-world problems with elegance and precision.
Your experience will be a key asset, especially in integrating AEM with third-party systems like Magento for eCommerce solutions, amplifying platform capabilities, and facilitating seamless online shopping experiences that set the standard in user satisfaction. Collaboration is another cornerstone of this role, as you will work closely with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders, aligning everyone on project goals, timelines, and deliverables, fostering an environment where collaboration meets innovation to realize shared objectives.
Who are we looking for?
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- AEM Master Architect Certification is highly preferred.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in web development, with a minimum of 5 years focused on AEM development and architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of Java, J2EE, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Understanding of AEM architecture components like Sling, OSGi, and Oak.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, design sessions, and problem-solving initiatives.
- Great communication and team leadership skills with a proactive attitude.
- Fluent in English.
